#KROM 4. What is God?
----
To define God completely with the limited mind or speech is not possible! However, God-realized saints, out of compassion, for the sake of humanity, have described God with certain important aspects, commonly. That description is as follows:

“God is source of all (universes, life forms, etc.), is present in all inside out, is ever existing, being One appears like many in variety of names and forms by Its Unlimited Power, is Perfect, is Endless Bliss, Completely Conscious!”

In short, God is “Sat-Chit-Ananda (Ever-existing, Ever-Conscious, Ever-new Bliss)!”

With an analogy, it is easier to understand (however, stretching this example by adding more variables will make it fall apart, as said above no “limited” example can describe “Unlimited” God completely :-( ):
God is like a big ocean and all the universes and life forms are like its waves. From the ocean, a wave with a form gets created (creation), remains as a wave for a given period of time (sustenance), and then merges back into the ocean (destruction). Likewise, from God, the entire creation (universes, galaxies, inhabitants in them, etc) gets created, remains, and returns back!

Keeping in line with this, our Divine Poet, Sri Valluvar, has enigmatically coded the sound of creation “AUM” in his first Kural as follows: “a” in “agara” (creation), “u” in “ulagu” (sustenance),  m in “ellaam” (destruction)!

He mentions: How all letters of (any of) the alphabet originate from letter “a,” all the universes, including life forms, originate from God.

(wow!... wait a minute, I forgot what I was going to ask with your grand explanation! ;-)  …. {thinking…} ok, I recall it now... Why is it that All-Perfect God intended to create us? Be that as it may, now, what are we supposed to do?... Super questions, Brother! In the future posts, we will see what Sri Valluvar has said about these!)
